his ownCloud 8.x spreadsheets plugin was mainly part of a research thesis for the Univeristy of Applied Sciences in Vorarlberg, Austria. As a result the app lacks a lot of handy features

# Development
At the moment, I don’t have time and intentions to continue development of this package. If you feel like you are missing functionality, or more importantly, came across a bug, feel free to fix it! For an indication of open issues, look at the ToDo list below.

La regione EmiliaRomagna passa all'OPEN

pare che la regione in vista della scadenza di 3.200 licenze decide di passare ad Open Office.
Io della mia, se posso.. , consiglierei Libre Office,
si tratta di un fork di Open Office, dovuto al cambio di gestione sui diritti del nome: da Oracle a SUN avrebbe dovuto essere la transazione, che ha suscitato le ire dei liberi sviluppatori: poi per qualche inghippo commerciale è passato da SUN e dopo alla Apache Foundation che non è poi così tanto male.. ma il patatrack era già fatto..

Libre Office nasce quindi dalla parte più ampia della vecchia comunità per la suite d’ufficio, che decise di rimanere indipendendte dalla gestione di una grossa azienda.
Tra le due nacque rivalità di sviluppo, che da una arte velocizzò le release, dall’altro.. hum.. la gestione del formato non è proprio interoperabile tra i due software.. il che è il MALE.
Però.. guarda.. hanno appena rilasciato entrambe la nuova versione 4!
Libre Office sembra essere ancora in vantaggio come velocità di uscita.. e come prestazioni.. liberi di dire la vostra 🙂
